Youngsville Academy is seeking a Writing & Grammar Instructor to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will cultivate clear, structured thinking through writing instruction rooted in grammar, composition, and the study of exemplary texts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver rigorous instruction in grammar, composition, and analytical writing
- Develop students’ ability to write with clarity, precision, and logic
- Provide consistent, actionable feedback to improve student writing
- Uphold high academic and behavioral expectations aligned to a college-prep environment
- Collaborate with faculty to reinforce writing across disciplines
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Classical Studies, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Strong command of grammar, composition, and traditional writing instruction
- Commitment to a structured, knowledge-rich, college-preparatory model
- Ability to maintain an orderly, disciplined classroom environment
