Lottery Results 2019-2020

Youngsville Academy held its 5th annual enrollment lottery today. We have attached two documents. One contains the lottery numbers for applicants who received seats via the lottery. The second contains the lottery numbers for applicants who have been placed on the waitlist.
We received a record number of applications this year, so we are sorry to report that the majority of families who applied have been placed on the waitlist as a result of the lottery process. For families who applied with preference (e.g. siblings of students who are currently enrolled at the school), we are happy to report that space was available to accept each sibling.
Each family for the general lottery was assigned one lottery number. The lottery number is the first letter of the family's last name and the final four digits of the family's primary phone number that was listed on the application. (Example: John Doe 919.123.4567 would be assigned lottery number D4567). Due to the high volume of calls/communications we receive around the lottery, we are not able to readily confirm lottery numbers. If you are unsure about your number, please review the list for any of the numbers you may have used prior to contacting the school (thanks!).
For families who did receive spots: Congratulations! We will be sending you enrollment paperwork next week. This paperwork will contain all the information required to complete the enrollment process. You’ll receive the paperwork via email and mail.
For families who have students on the waitlist: The common question is: “What are my chances?” This is exceedingly difficult to answer. If you’re #1-#10 on the Kindergarten waitlist or #1-#5 on the waitlist for another grade, your chances of eventually receiving a seat have historically been fairly good. Unfortunately, we cannot predict movement on the waitlist. We’ve heard from many of you that Youngsville Academy was your top choice and we thank you for your support. We are sorry that we do not have the capacity available for your student. We encourage you to re-apply next application cycle.
