Junior High is an exciting time. During the years students spend in Junior High they into young adults. This transition is characterized by various academic, behavioral, emotional, and physical changes. The cognitive changes of this age shape the way that students engage the curriculum. Our curriculum is specifically designed to provide content that challenges the students and and offers them with a chance to develop their critical thinking and communication skills.

Through a carefully crafted curriculum students move from the grammar stage (Elementary) into the logic stage (Junior High) and are well prepared for the rhetoric stage (High School). As part of the college-preparatory goal of Youngsville Academy, qualified students are offered an opportunity to begin taking high school level courses while in seventh and eighth grades.
