Youngsville Academy provides a refreshingly different approach to education than what you would find in most modern schools. Instead of being subjected to countless hours of computer-based instruction or the latest educational fads, students are actively engaged in time-tested, rigorous coursework. Students are challenged to learn and grow in an environment that provides and requires active interaction with teachers and peers. Students are actively engaged in numerous sports, clubs, and activities, as learning is cultivated both inside and outside of the classroom. Through our approach, students significantly outperform local, regional, and national peers both academically and socially.

 

 

Students exceed the annual academic growth of national peers by the equivalent of more than 4 months of education per school year. By 8th Grade, this means that Youngsville Academy students outperform national peers by the equivalent of more than 3 grade levels. (Per the ITBS National Exam).

 

By 10th Grade, Youngsville Academy students outperform Franklin County's 11th Grade students by 7 points and Wake County's students by 4 points. By 11th Grade, the class average for the ACT is among the highest in the State.

 

This success is achieved through establishing strong foundations in Elementary School and maintaining high expectations throughout the K-12 education. Unlike traditional public schools, most charter schools, and some private schools, Youngsville Academy does not use the common-core aligned State standard course of study.
