Location Announcement

Youngsville Academy is pleased to announce its future location. “After a thorough review of properties in our service area, the school decided to place under contract 20 acres with frontage on Hicks Road and access to Cedar Creek Road” stated Mr. Larry Henson, the school’s Founder and Principal. The 20 acres will be parceled off of a larger piece of property that is at the northwest corner of the Hicks Road and Cedar Creek intersection. A market analysis indicated that the property is ideally situated to serve current families and applicants to the school, allowing easy access to Youngsville, Franklinton, Louisburg, and surrounding areas. The property provides sufficient space to meet the future needs of the school. Planned development consists of over 70,000 square feet of academic space, including classrooms, gymnasiums, and an auditorium. In addition to these facilities, the property will accommodate playgrounds, athletic fields, and sufficient parking.

The estimated project cost is anticipated to be around $15 million dollars, which will be divided into three phases and accomplished as the school grows according to its expansion model. The school currently serves Grades K-3 and will continue to expand one grade level per year until serving Grades K-12, with 60 students per grade. “We’re achieving our academic, enrollment, and financial goals” stated Mr. Henson, and continued “I’m very proud of our teachers, staff, and Board.”

Additional information about the phased development of the property will be provided on the school’s website as that information becomes available for public release. As we continue to grow our community partnerships, opportunities will be available for individuals and businesses to sponsor elements of our permanent facilities, such as computer labs, science labs, auditoriums, and gymnasiums.
